Ordinary Nigerians, Vol. 1: The Roots of Empire uncovers hidden stories of life under colonial rule. From a death that reshaped native healthcare, to a marriage torn apart by law, and a love story undone in court, this three-part volume reveals how colonial power reached into the most intimate corners of Nigerian life. Through vivid narration and a rich, immersive soundscape, the podcast restores forgotten voices, reminding us that history is not only made by the powerful or popular, but also by ordinary Nigerians.

Story1
Who were the Gestapo officers? Were they merely banal paper shufflers, or were they recognizably evil? Were they motivated by an eliminationist anti-Semitism? Did the average German know about the mass murder of Jews and other undesirables while they were happening? Exactly how was Nazi terror applied in the daily lives of ordinary Jews and Germans? Eric A. Johnson answers these questions as he explores the roles of the individual and of society in making terror work.

Classic G X O GENERATION X-TRA ORDINARY The podcast nobody asked for. is shut down. HOWEVER SOMETHING NEW IS COMING. GXO-V2 A different kind of podcast. My hope is that GXO-V2 will be a unique and humorous experience. With that being said my plan is to do a podcast reminiscent of the variety shows of the past from radio and television. Maybe a dash or two from the old Jack Benny radio show, add ½ cup of Hee Haw, 2 tablespoons of SCTV, and mix it well with a quart of LAUGH IN. Bake for one hour and pray we have something that don’t suck. The new website is gxo-v2.com 7-5-25
