Würstchenketten im Christbaum, Weihnachtslieder mit Saxophonbegleitung, jede Menge Geschenke und eine ganze Horde Samse. Besser hätte sich das Sams seinen allerersten Weihnachtsabend gar nicht vorstellen können. Und genauso soll es am ersten Weihnachtstag bitte schön auch weitergehen. Das Mini-Sams soll zurück in die Menschenwelt kommen. Das Sams, Papa Taschenbier und sogar Frau Rotkohl vermissen es so sehr. Aber der Zauberspruch, den sich das Mini-Sams merken muss, um zurück in Papa Taschenbiers Zimmer zu gelangen, ist einfach zu kompliziert.

So ganz versteht das Sams dieses Weihnachten noch nicht. Was genau sind das für Flügelwesen, die angeblich im Himmel wohnen? Und warum stellt man sich einen Baum mitten ins Wohnzimmer? Herr Taschenbier muss eine ganze Menge erklären. Vor allem die Sache mit den Geschenken findet das Sams sehr interessant. Es hat auch gleich eine Idee, was es seinem Papa zum Fest schenken könnte. Doch dazu muss es erst einmal in die Sams-Welt reisen.
