إن أغاني الأطفال تثير رعبي منذ زمن بعيد .. أعتقد أنها تحمل لمسة من مخاوف البشرية القديمة .. ومن المؤكد أنها تشكل مخاوفنا القادمة لفترة طويلة .. أي أن مخاوفنا تصنع هذه الأغاني، و هذه الأغاني تصنع مخاوفنا .. ميراث من الخوف عبر الأجيال، كما أنها تشبه الأحلام في أنها لا تصرح بشيء .. هناك تلميحات ورموز فقط .. يبدو أن المهتمون بطريقة (بونج) في التحليل النفسي يجدون دوماً ما يروق لهم فى أغانى الأطفال هذه .. كانت لي قصة رهيبة مع أغاني الأطفال، وفي الوقت نفسه هى أقرب إلى لعبة .. هذا ما سوف نتكلم عنه الآن.
