Der Verdacht fällt auf einen nordafrikanischen Staat, dessen Präsident Kadidi sich gegenüber den westlichen Staaten profilieren will. Kurz darauf wird ein Space Shuttle der Station entführt, schafft aber den Eintritt in die Erdatmosphäre nicht und explodiert.
