Something always goes sideways, but this is bigger than expected. Maybe it's not an entirely bad thing, though, as mana-infected animals spreading over the world would definitely make everyone more open to the idea of the apocalypse. The question is what was Silas supposed to do about it, though. He still couldn't tell anyone who wasn't inducted about the system. It was time to get creative. If that wasn't enough, though, he still had the wild hunt hanging over his head. Seven days to go, and then he'd be thrown into whatever twisted event the system had cooked up for him.

On a mission to find his sister, Allie—out there somewhere battling her own demons—Riven quickly learns that every time he kills his bloodlust only increases, bringing him ever closer to becoming a full-blown harbinger of doom. But maybe a vampiric hero is just what this mad new world needs.

Silas is growing into the responsibilities weighing him down. Earth is struggling, but there is hope. The deals that Silas has made have brought resources and trainers to Earth. He's helped some leaders gain an understanding of what they will face. His team has continued to grow but now he finds himself facing the greatest challenge to any Forerunner, the Wild Hunt. He'll be hunted but also have to hunt other Forerunners while forging a shaky alliance with those he can't trust. Even more disturbing, it seems like there might be more than one system to choose from.

As Riven Thane delves into the darker places of the multiverse, he continues to grow in power as a warlock. Still, new death-defying training is in order. Wrapped in layers of legend, the abyss is an infernal paradise of blood, depravity, and sin buried in the deepest core of the void. There's no better place for Riven to prepare, excel, and bring honor to his people. Assuming he survives the experience.

It's a time for new beginnings. Empires are rising from the ashes of dead civilizations as the merged worlds of Panu come together. Most prominent is the Thane Necropolis, the inheritance of Prince Riven Thane and home to more than fifty-one million vampire citizens and six billion slaves. Here, Riven's word is law—whether he likes it or not. Lately, he's been iffy on the subject.

The apocalypse has arrived. Now, it's down to control. Who will control the rich resources of a newly inducted world? Multiple systems, sects, guilds, and incursion parties are all aiming for that control. But Silas believes there is more to control than just land and resources. He aims to win over the hearts and souls of the people while making Earth the strongest it can be.

Three-year-old Vangie is mute and unresponsive. She shows no interest in the people or world around her, much to the frustration of her callous foster parents. Little do they know, Vangie is otherwise occupied observing “ghosts”—an infinite number of versions of herself, in an infinite number of parallel universes. When a tornado hits their trailer and Vangie is severely injured, she makes a desperate leap into another timeline where she survives the tornado, but her foster parents do not.

THE BLEED is attacking on several fronts and through different realities at once. The survivors of numerous battles are brought together through a series of ancient clockwork rooms, and their individual experiences combine to paint a picture of a multiverse on the brink of total annihilation. Gods and mortals fight alongside each other on the streets and among the stars, struggling to hold back the armies of demons doing the bidding of THE BLEED.
