Book 3: The Track of a Storm: A Tale of Two Cities is an 1859 historical novel by Charles Dickens, set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution. War Horse has become a modern classic. This wonderful version is narrated by the author, Michael Morpurgo, and Joanna Lumley. It was recorded with musical accompaniment by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The music is composed by Adrian Sutton, with songs by John Tam. The principal singer is Tim van Eyken, the original Songman from The National Theatre's Warhorse.
