Pummel, Pummelomi, Pummelfee und Norbert der Keks wollten eigentlich gemütlich mit der Buntbisonbahn in die Toffeetherme nach Schaumkusen reisen. Doch es kommt mal wieder anders, als gedacht: Ein riesiger, schwarzer Brocken liegt auf dem Gleis und verhindert die Weiterfahrt.

Peter der Hartherzige ist inzwischen als Stallbursche im königlichen Stall gelandet und trägt den hässlichen Spitznamen Peter der Mistherzige, den ihm Robin im Spaß verpasst hat. Zusammen mit Norbert zieht er los, um herauszufinden, wo die Pralinguine bleiben. Doch im Gebirge haust auch der sagenumwobene Yogu-Yeti.
