Acho que eu estava no quinto ano da escola, mas parece que foi ontem. Eu me lembro de ter lido que, embora a maioria das pessoas consiga enxergar, poucas observam os detalhes das coisas ao seu redor. Naquela época, não fez muito sentido para mim. No entanto, tempos depois, entendi o que aquilo queria dizer. Aprendi a observar, a fotografar o mundo com os olhos e, acima de tudo, com a alma. As fotografias que eu tirava eram de coisas que muitos podem considerar triviais: um pôr do sol, uma flor, um sorriso, um aceno.
