It describes how the Chanukah menorah is lit in a way that represents its unique objective- illuminating the darkness and transforming it. It highlights how the halachos of the time of its lighting specify 3 negatives that have a source in holiness (as does everything) and that through its lighting it is elevated even higher than its source.
