Audio Journeys explores a small patch of some of the Republic of El Salvador's last remaining rainforests. Fifty spider monkeys live in the canopy of 300-year-old trees. The spider monkeys are protected as long as they stay in this very small area, known as the Chaguantique Nature Reserve.

This important private reserve is maintained by El Salvador's ministry of Natural Resources.

Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated as he was leaving the Lorraine Motel in Memphis Tennessee to join the city's sanitation workers' striking for better working conditions and pay.
