Good and Bad Touches teach children the difference between good and bad touches or unwanted touches that a child may experience at an early age. The book helps parents to be comfortable in describing bad touches. The goal is for the child to tell parents if they are experiencing physical or sexual abuse or to prevent bad touches from progressing to sexual abuse.

The crucial skills taught in this book will help children to protect their bodies from inappropriate touch. Children will be empowered to say in a strong and clear voice, “This is my body! What I say goes!”

In this story the child is invited on a healing journey where their loss is personified as a fictional visitor known as the Loss Total. The narrator models a coping technique as an example for the child dealing with grief of any sort. “The Loss Total” offers a standing invitation to the child. The child will learn that others also experience loss and they can utilize Nature to assist with healing.
