War es Henning Hahn oder der alte Kater Sokrates? Oder ist am Ende Horst Hengst oder gar Freddy der Esel der Dieb? Eines Tages ist dann auf einmal auch noch das kleine afrikanische Stinktier verschwunden. "Sehr verdächtig", meint Kommissar Eugen.

Die Filmarbeiten über Freddys Abenteuer dauern immer noch an. Jetzt kommt sogar noch ein neuer Darsteller dazu: Ein Hund! Und der sieht dem alten Bauernhof-Hund zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Freddy und seine Freunde sind begeistert. Der alte Freund ist wieder bei ihnen - oder etwa doch nicht?

Eugen Eule ist fix und fertig: Das kleine afrikanische Stinktiermädchen Lulu ist nicht zum vereinbarten Treffpunkt gekommen - und er hat schon überall gesucht. Ihr muss etwas zugestoßen sein! Freddy findet, dass Eugen sich zu viele Sorgen macht. Doch immer mehr Zeit vergeht, ohne dass Lulu wieder auftaucht. Jetzt wird auch Freddy nervös. Und tatsächlich: Das verschwundene Stinktier steckt ganz schön im Schlamassel.

Freddys Bauernhof wird zum Notquartier für die Flüchtlinge. Zunächst verstehen sich alle ganz prima. Doch mit der Zeit gehen die ungeladenen Gäste den Bauernhoftieren ganz schön auf den Wecker.
