Un jour, l'amitié entre Petit Tigre et Petit Ours fut mise à rude épreuve. En effet, Petit Tigre a rencontré Petit Cochon, ils se sont goinfrés de pâte à gâteau et ont joué ensemble - et bien vite, Petit Tigre a décidé d'emménager chez Petit Cochon. Il en avait presque oublié Petit Ours, qui restait désormais tout seul à la maison. Mais " presque" seulement... Janosch nous parle avec humour de jalousie et d'amitié.

Un jour, Petit Tigre tombe malade. Petit Ours accourt pour aider son ami. Il l'accompagne même jusqu'à l'hôpital. L'auscultation et la radiographie sont sans appel : une rayure a glissé ! S'ensuit une petite piqûre, des beaux rêves, et tada ! Petit Tigre est comme neuf après son opération. Rien de si grave !
