As humanity emerged from the rubble of nuclear war, so did history's darkest secrets, deliberately concealed beneath a cunning web of lies, half-truths, and contrivance. Now, as alien overlords ready their blueprint for absolute control over planet Earth, daring rebels fight back against grim odds and an enemy of superlative power whose only failing may be their inability to grasp mankind's fierce will to survive.

The turquoise utopia of the South Pacific belies the mammoth evil rising beneath the waves as Kane and his companions come to the aid of islanders under attack by a degenerate sea nation thriving within a massive dome on the ocean floor. Now the half-human inhabitants of Lemuria have become the violent henchmen of the one true lord of the deep — a creature whose tenacious grip on the stygian depths and all sentient souls in his path, tightens with terrible power as he prepares to reclaim his world.

The conspiracy of secrecy manipulating post-nuclear Earth takes a terrifying new turn as the mysterious oligarchy becomes something far more sinister. No longer shrouded in the cloaks of hybrid-human divinity, the nine barons have evolved into their true incarnation of ancient overlords, their avaricious scope expanded to reclaim the world they were forced to abandon and with it, the final subjugation of the human race.

The baronial machine ruling post-apocalyptic America is no more, yet even as settlers leave the fortressed cities and attempt to build new lives in the untamed outlands, a deadly new struggle is born. The hybrid barons have evolved into their new forms, their avaricious scope expanding to encompass the entire world. Though the war has changed, the struggle for the Cerberus rebels remains the same: save humanity from its slavers.

Two centuries after a nuclear holocaust, America continues to resurrect itself, survival being the primary impulse for the hammered masses while absolute power remains in the hands of the reborn barons and their Magistrate enforcer corps. Yet this gradually weakening elite remain an integral part of an unfathomable destiny - defiantly challenged by those driven to free humanity from ancient, alien domination.

The nine hybrid barons — mysterious oligarchs who ruled the fortified cities that emerged after Armageddon — are no more. Gone, not by the civil war fought by a courageous band of exiles, but trapped in a web of evil 4000 years in the making. As Tiamat, a living, sentient ship, hovers in orbit over Egypt, the nine Overlords of an ancient civilization are reborn. The planet Nibiru will live again on Earth and humanity will be enslaved, or die. He is a being of inhuman evil: a melding of dragon, myth, and machine.

Shrouded in manipulation and mystery, a deadly order grips the treacherous post-nuclear world, one that conspires to weaken and subjugate humanity as it has for eons. Yet the oligarchy of hybrid barons is slowly losing its power over insurrectionist forces, led by rebels willing to lead mankind out of its yoke of slavery. Though the timeless secrets of Earth and its oppressors remain locked, the sheer fortitude of the human soul remains strong....

Ominous rumblings in the South Pacific lead Kane and his compatriots into the heart of a secret barony ruled by a ruthless god-king planning an invasion of the secret territory at Uluru and its aboriginals who are seemingly possessed of a power beyond all earthly origin. With total victory of hybrid over human hanging in the balance, slim hope lies with the people known as the Crew, preparing to reclaim a power so vast that in the wrong hands it could plunge humanity into an abyss of evil with no hope of redemption.

The nine barons of post-nuclear America are succumbing to the tides of insurrection, a war that threatens to bring about the extinction of not only the weakening oligarchy, but the entire hybrid race. As the battle for power and territory rages on between the weary barons and the increasingly powerful and dangerous Imperator, the rebels of Cerberus press on, driven by the hope that humanity will someday have the choice that only freedom from enslavement can allow: a chance to reclaim the planet.

Kane finds himself 25 years into a parallel future, a world where the mysterious Imprator has seemingly restored civilization to America, overthrowing the baronial oligarchy — with the help of the Cerberus exiles. In this alternate reality, only Kane and Grant survived the battle and its spilled blood has left them estranged. Yet Kane is certain that somewhere in time lies a different path to tomorrow's reality...and his obsession may be humanity's last chance to battle evil in two worlds — the past and the future — where a sinister madman controls the heart of the world.

The Nukecaust radically altered the face of the globe and even the secret malevolent architects of mankind's history could not predict the will of the human spirit to survive - and to rebel. As Earth's destiny remains pawn to sinister forces not of this world, an underground resistance movement is fighting back against the ruling barons and their hidden masters. Kane, once an enforcer of the evil he now seeks to destroy, is joined by his compatriots in a brutal, covert war to reclaim the future for its rightful owners.

Two centuries after Armageddon, the eternal battle between order and chaos continues. Pockets of fortified city states are ruled by powerful barons, plenipotentiaries of humanity's secret enslavers. Half human hybrids, these inheritors carry out an ages-old conspiracy of mankind's domination. But there are those who fight this insidious horror.

The nuke caust that gave birth to the garrisoned cities and the hell-zones of the Outlands was the calculated stroke of a dark conspiracy that haunts humanity. Now, as this evil specter continues its secret war to conquer what is left of civilization, a dedicated group dares to expose the truth about earth's sinister overlords....

His new world born out of the fire and ashes of a nuclear exchange, a rogue warrior searches for ways to undo the past. With brother-in-arms Grant and the archivist Brigid Baptist, he dares to seek out the secrets of time.... Kane and his fellow exiles are thrown into a reality where the nukecaust didn't happen — instead, the inhabitants had driven the enemy from the planet. But now the dark forces are back for a final confrontation in a war that may bring the ultimate freedom or final destruction.

Kane and his fellow Outlanders are thrown into a world where the nuclear war never happened but a clandestine war rages on against the sinister forces that still rule humanity. Here, this deadly spectre has openly revealed itself - as mankind's great benefactors. As Kane and his band meld with their doubles in this new reality, their quest to change history is confronted by ultimate evil.

A former enforcer for the new lords, Kane found shelter in Cerberus Redoubt, along with the archivist Brigid and fellow magistrate Grant. They know that unseen forces guard an ancient secret, which has thrown a dark shroud over the future. Behind them stands the impenetrable past. But all that changes when they are suddenly catapulted into another reality - and here, as they attempt to remake the future, the enemy races to turn time into a weapon of destruction.

Deep in the Outlands, in Cerberus redoubt, Kane, a renegade Magistrate from the united baronies, experiences a shocking mind probe. It imprints him with a knowledge that propels him to the other side of the world, with the archivist Brigid and brother-at-arms Grant. In the heart of Tibet, Kane's small group of Outlanders wages a perilous quest pursuing a legend, only to discover they are not alone in their search for the Chintamani Stone. The ancient relic has the power to conduct the final assault on the Earth's destiny...or destroy the destroyers themselves.

Time hasn't stopped after the apocalypse. After the long nuclear winters, a few continue the struggle for survival in the irradiated wastelands. Then, a new order emerges, with a directive to destroy whatever freedom remains in its fortified enclaves and the surrounding Outlands. Kane, once its trusted and feared warrior, is now a fugitive driven to fathom the past and unravel the future.

As a warrior, Kane served the lords of the villes, but on a punitive expedition he'd caught a forbidden glimpse of the future that made him an outcast. In exile with him are Brigid Baptiste, golden keeper of the archives, and Grant, an only friend in a hostile land. Together, they've sworn to uncover the secrets of the world's fate...as written in its dark past.
