The Book of Lesser Traumas is a non-linear autobiography of a life well lived. Sometimes outrageous, at other times heartbreaking, The Book of Lesser Traumas explores ideas of right and wrong, caring too much, and coping with tragedy. The opening tale explores the time when the author joined the Communist Party USA, creating a propaganda press, only to be thwarted by a small group of religious fanatics. From humor to black comedy to an exploration on the modern meaning of death, The Book of Lesser Traumas is equal parts compelling and heartbreaking.
