Perfectionism is an illusion of this world. We strive for it personally and professionally as an ever-moving bar we will never reach. The world gives the illusion of perfection in others in ways that enhance our imperfection. Jesus came as a model of perfection that we can never attain through our own efforts, but 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10 is a reminder that in our weakness He is made strong. What if we shared our vulnerabilities, celebrated them, and used them to give God the glory- His perfect glory? Release the burden of personal perfection and celebrate our amazingly perfect creator!
