Estero Ekklesia is a church alternative based in Estero, FL. We exist to equip believers in their pursuit of a biblical faith expression. We uphold that ekklesia - the Greek word most often translated 'church' in the New Testament - does not mean church at all. As a matter of fact, Jesus wasn't starting a religion, a denomination, or a movement that revolved around weekly meetings when He said He would build His ekklesia in Matthew 16:18.
