We all experience hurts, especially early in our lives, that cause us to adapt for protection and emotional survival: that create our unconscious “shadows.” Yet the tendency in our culture is to suppress or ignore pain, which only fuels our shadows’ needs for domination or victimization. In this book, Pixie encourages us to shift perspective, and to see our shadows as frightened inner children, desperate to even out the imbalances of our developmental years.

Boundaries & Protection is Pixie Lighthorse’s fourth book. Guided by the graceful, territorial, fiercely protective spirit of Mountain Lion, Lighthorse takes us on a healing journey through our developmental lacks and traumas to find the unique medicine in each situation. Gently but firmly, she also guides us to recognize where we have violated others’ boundaries, to grow our humility, and to make amends.

This podcast is a series of interviews held with individuals from all over the world, who grew up religious and have since embraced occult practices in some capacity.
