William Shakespeare, long hailed as history's greatest dramatic writer, has been lauded for his mastery of poetic expression, his insight into the human condition, and his deep exploration into the psyche and motivations of his characters.

The '90s was the decade when British culture reclaimed its position at the artistic centre of the world. When fashion runways shone with British talent, Young British Artists became household names, football was 'coming home' and British film went worldwide.

Williamson takes us through his life, from growing up on the land in the Mallee and Moree in a family of five boys, to being the voice of Australia. John got a lucky break that kickstarted his music career with ‘Old Man Emu’, which he wrote and performed on New Faces in 1970. After huge initial success, his music career floundered for a decade until he reinvented himself.
