Tomei a iniciativa de escrever sobre a soja com o objetivo de mostrar a importância deste grão para o organismo humano, visto que eu mesma consumo soja em grão, moída ou texturizada há mais de 25 anos, desde o final da década de 70, quando tive a oportunidade de trabalhar por 10 anos como assistente administrativa em escolas públicas no Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul, onde no cardápio da merenda escolar, cedida pelo Governo, incluía leite de soja e proteína de soja (PVT).
