Keeper of the Sky Beast

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. In Ashford, William Crowe has spent his life tending goats beneath a sky turned gray since the ancient War of the Gods. He knows every stone in the pasture, every change in the weather, and every strange vibration beneath his feet. But William has never understood why he can hear things others cannot.

When the Order comes searching for an ancient power hidden in his village, William's quiet life is shattered. His grandfather reveals a secret guarded by their family for generations: William carries the legacy of the Shepherd, an ancient guardian whose death scattered twelve extraordinary creatures known as the sky-herd across the world.

With an ancient Horn Fragment, a mysterious guardian named Caelum, and Pip—the seemingly ordinary goat who may be far more than she appears—William begins a journey to find the scattered sky-herd and awaken what has been waiting for three hundred years.

His path leads beyond Ashford and into a world of forgotten powers, dangerous pursuers, buried history, and unexpected allies. Along the way, William discovers that being a Shepherd is not about commanding the creatures he seeks. It is about earning their trust.

As the Order closes in and old secrets begin to surface, William must learn what his inheritance truly means—and whether he is capable of carrying a legacy that has waited centuries for the right person to return.

The Last Shepherd is a quiet, atmospheric fantasy about inheritance, loyalty, forgotten magic, found family, and the patient courage required to walk an uncertain road.
