Dark Peak Detectives

Detective Inspector Tom Brand has moved from London to his childhood home in the sleepy village of Relby to look after his elderly father and take a job as lead detective in the village's new police station. Before he has a chance to settle into his new life, tragedy strikes. Two twelve-year-old boys pretending to be detectives in a mysterious game disappear. Tom is thrown into the most important case of his career. Families are torn apart by the disappearance of the boys, and the only clues are frustratingly indecipherable.

When a young woman is found dead—shot through the heart with an arrow—it's up to DI Tom Brand and DS Kate Ryan to solve her bizarre murder. The residents of Relby village, still recovering from recent tragic events, are up in arms that the icy finger of Death has touched the community once again. With the press hounding them for information, and a DSI expecting a quick solution to the mystery, Brand and Ryan are working against the clock to make sure the killer doesn't strike again.
