Hellbeast King

The day I snuck into the infamous Devil’s Ring Fight Club. I had followed my cousin Amelia, who turned out not to be quite as innocent as I first believed. In fact, it turned out she didn’t live in the same world as I did…Not at all. I knew this the moment I entered his kingdom. My world changed the moment he found me. He gave me a warning that night. He told me if he ever found me again then next time, he wouldn’t be so quick in letting me escape him. His little Red Riding Hood. It was a threat I took seriously as it was only my dreams that took me back to that place. 

It started the moment I woke up in hospital; I naively believed I would find myself alone. I was wrong, because the HellBeast King wasn’t done with me. Far from it, in fact, as he told me he had made a vow...a vow to keep me safe. But as my fate started to unravel, revealing more and more pieces of him at the core, I couldn’t help but question: was his vow to keep me safe, or was it simply a HellBeast’s fight to keep me?

A face I knew well...my own. So now there’s an imposter pretending to me at The Devil's Ring, and the question now is: how long will a HellBeast King be fooled? But then with two of us trying to get close, I can’t help but wonder which of us will be hunted, and which of us will be claimed.

It started as a HellBeast’s mistake that ended in me making my own. Now I am paying for it; now I am running from it. I am soon to discover how foolish that was, because you can't run from the HellBeast King, not when he still wants you. Not when that King isn’t ready to let you go. So now I am being hunted, and soon he will find me...I know this.

I tried to run. I tried to hide. But look where it got me: captured and held firmly in the grasp of my HellBeast King. One still intent on completing the claim he feels he has on me. Which I knew meant only one thing: making me his—in every single way. By claiming my heart, then my blood, and now the very last thing left of me to give… He wants my body. But after having my heart trampled on, and after I had been willing to hand it over freely... Will I now finally accept what he calls my fate?

I tried to remember. I wanted to remember. Moving on from an unknown past was all that was left for me to do. So, I went home. I went back to my safe, boring life. Just a girl and her dog. Well, that was until an angry HellBeast King turned up and found me. A furious, sexy, hotblooded male from my past who now wants to convince me... He is my future. He is my everything. The problem is, he still terrifies me. What I soon realize is he isn't the only scary thing out there in my woods. He also isn't the only one who wants me.

Being lost in time was hard enough. But being lost in time while being hunted for revenge was even worse, a revenge that was never mine to receive. So, as I tumbled through the ages, I learned an important lesson. Sometimes… Time doesn't heal all wounds, after all. No, it just made them deeper.
