Hospitaller Saga

**Book 1 in a completed trilogy with 1,000+ 5-Star ratings on Goodreads** His orders were simple: bring the children home. He failed 200 of them. Brother Foulques de Villaret has devoted his life to God and the protection of the innocent. When the Knights Hospitaller send him to the Alps to escort 500 children back to Acre, to be trained as the next generation of soldiers of Christ, he goes. He prepares. He prays. He is not prepared for Badru Hashim. They call him the Northman. A giant of a man, unrivalled with a blade, and once among the most feared warriors in the Mamluk forces. Now he is something far more sinister: a slaver with no mercy and no equal. The Northman strikes and disappears without a trace. Two hundred children. Gone. Every hour Foulques waits is an hour his children travel further from reach. Soon they will be swallowed up by the slave markets of the Levant. So Foulques does the one thing a faithful brother of the Hospital should never do: he puts his trust in a rogue. A ship captain who answers to no king, no pope, and no God, but who has his own reasons to help. Together they sail straight into the jaws of something neither man is fully prepared to face. Foulques went to the Alps on God's mission. Now he leads his own. Some missions cannot be sanctioned. Some enemies cannot be left unchallenged. Some choices, once made, cannot be unmade. * Historical fiction based on real people * A gripping, action-filled historical thriller perfect for fans of Bernard Cornwell's The Last Kingdom * A must-read for anyone who enjoys Templar Knight stories
