Nava Katz Contemporary Fantasy

The mission: kill demons. The distraction: an infuriatingly sexy slayer. The challenge: don’t get the two confused..

Nava Katz traded a lost dream for an impressively cynical attitude. The one thing she does care about? Her twin brother, Ari, who trained his whole life to join the secret Brotherhood of demon hunters. Everyone expected the magical induction ring to choose him.

But when Nava crashes the ceremony, the ring snaps onto her finger instead.

It’s her worst nightmare: being needed.

Stuck with powers she doesn’t want or know how to use, she discovers that evil fiends are a delight compared to the all-male hunters, who shockingly, are not cool with a woman in their ranks. They assign her to Rohan Mitra, rock star turned ruthless slayer whose inner demons earn nods of respect from actual ones.

He’d be the perfect no-strings bad decision—if only he weren’t the first person in years to make her want more than an exit strategy.

Naturally, that’s when a vengeful demon puts Ari on its hit list.

Odds of defeating it? Um… Odds of succeeding out of spite? Way better.

The Brotherhood wants her gone. The demons want her dead. First gig as a Chosen One and she’s already nailing it.

Featuring laugh-out-loud banter, spicy romance, and a heroine who’s learning to own her power, this urban fantasy series sucker punches you in the heart when you’re not looking.
