As his life enters a whirlwind adventure, Marvin has to adapt to becoming something more than he ever imagines: an Apex Shifter.

The fate of the his pride hangs in the balance. Forces try to tear him down while Marvin rages to protect those he cares dearly about. Secret societies, indifferent royalty, and the government that exiled him hamper his every move. With his capable and deadly mates standing firm with him against them and the alien threat, Marvin, as the Apex Shifter, will teach them all why the lion is the king of the jungle.
