The Broken Lands

An ancient rift. A failing seal. A fading hope for humankind. In an age before memory, a civilization fell through a crack between worlds. Now, men and magic long-since vanished return from the void. The darkness is giving them back. Savra is a runaway with forbidden powers. Kostan is a reluctant ruler shouldered with a war-torn empire. As the land shatters, a dark tide rises. Two prophecies offer slim hopes for humanity. One names Savra as the Empire's savior. The other envisions Kostan leading the war against the darkness. Both can't be right.

The Empire is shattered. From the northern ice fields to the storm-battered coast, chasms gash the landscape. Hordes of twisted beasts ravage towns and cities, and still, the people riot. But the prophecies offer hope. Bolstered by the newfound, if fragile, peace with Stormshard, Emperor Kostan...
