The Kurtherian Gambit

What you thought you knew about vampires and werewolves is wrong...so very, very, wrong. A thousand years of effort to keep the Unknown World hidden is unraveling and the Patriarch is tired. He needs to find someone to take over. He finds Bethany Anne.

There is more in our world than you know. Deep in the darkness of a government building, one man needs to find the perfect solution to a vampire’s request that the government satisfy the debt of honor owed him. If he falls short, the failure will be paid in the blood of the military. He needs three uniquely qualified individuals. He can find only one. One woman, dying, might be the ace-in-the-hole he needs to appease the Vampire. But then, she might also be the one person needed to save humanity. If she is accepted, will she willingly change? 

The UnknownWorld is reeling from change. Bethany Anne has started to make a difference in the first week of being awake. Now, America has been losing good men since their teams don't have a vampire to help them. Frank is hoping Bethany Anne can, and will, help. Further, the American Pack Council is having internal problems with their own young and dumb weres who want to ignore Michael's strictures. With no one seeing Michael, the fear of the Boogeyman is starting to recede.

When one of Bethany Anne's loved ones gets caught in the crossfire between her and the Forsaken, she goes rabid in rage. She doesn't believe in seeking peace and harmony, but rather revenge and mayhem. Continuing the story of Bethany Anne and TQB team, Love Lost picks up after Queen Bitch. She works to complete both her business and military team leads and we meet Stephen's daughter Gabrielle as plans are made to exact revenge South of the Border. You don't touch one of Bethany Anne's loved ones and get away with it, no matter how far away you live.

Bethany Anne and crew are back! They need to grab a ship, figure out who is trying to dig into her businesses, get their hands around the potential for creating an A.I. and the ongoing mess with Anton and South America. One of these days, she will get a break. Fortunately for us, it wasn't today. Got an attitude? That's nice. Just don't show it around Bethany Anne. When she slaps a face off, the whole head goes with it. 

Both vampires and humans have been targeted, but if there is one thing those who work with Bethany Anne learn, it is that you are never forsaken. This time, Bethany Anne is after Anton, who has something, or someone, Bethany Anne wants back. Can she find out where he is and break in to save the Patriarch if he is still alive? Or is it a trap? Will Anton, with his centuries of experience, have the final laugh at both of their expenses?  

There is one thing every enemy of Bethany Anne finds out: They will be ground under her heels. Now, something is heating up between Bethany Anne and Michael, and it isn’t her anger over him leaving her behind. Well, much. Further, the Patriarch is learning there might be someone worth sticking around for in his future. If she would just stop being so hard-headed.  

The future just went upside down when a nascent AI was added against Bethany Anne's wishes. Then, there is David and his issues to take care of, permanently. Bethany Anne has had it with terrorists. Not encumbered with law, she seeks only justice for those who were killed in France. New members are added to the team as they continue their efforts to reach for the stars.

The world needs protecting. Before they can build in space, they have to GET into space. There is a "false queen" attacking vampires in Asia—Bethany Anne sends her own to look into that. The moon base needs to be settled. Can Team BMW make it happen? Do they have enough people? CAN they get the right people to help? John's cousin is now part of the team. Will she make it? There is a group looking to find them and they are using Barb to do it.

The World is caught off guard by the sudden advances in technology, some are not happy about that at all. Bethany Anne's group needs to move into production, who is she going to hire for that position? Old enemies take a stronger stance at revenge than before. Helping others is a tall order, but TQB Rises to the Occasion! Now, the World is on Notice!

Stephen walked into the office which Barnabas was using as his judge's chamber. While the massive amount of data Bethany Anne’s team was throwing at him was more than enough to assuage his curiosity, he had never felt this way in the last one hundred and fifty-two years.
