The Nine Magics

Rico hungered for something more, eager for excitement. Fate led him to a goddess of opportunity. The divine teleports him to a planet filled with war, magic, and denizens of the deep. Life... it has a way of smacking you in the face, eliciting that fight of flight emotion buried deep within. For Rico, he embraces the challenge, being blessed as a mage of the nine magics; a protector of the nine species. By crushing his enemies to gain riches and levels, he'll protect the downtrodden as a destined champion.

Nobody mentioned how hard being a champion on Loral would be. Rico still would've gone if they did though, because his new family is everything to him. The problem is, the damned Shrezen are coming and each wave brings harder armies to defeat. He wanted, no, he hoped for a brain dead legion of zombie type opponents.

The growing waves force Rico and his family to find a new bastion. The war will be brutal, the battles bloody, and the struggle intense. With the help of those who entrust him with their safety, Rico will save the day.
