Adam is a former full-time law enforcement officer and has faced many challenges familiar to law enforcement and other first responders. He is the author of multiple books, including the perennial bestseller Behind the Badge: 365 Daily Devotions for Law Enforcement (BroadStreet Publishing, 2018), and the finalist for best Christian devotional of the year in 2020, Bulletproof Marriage: a 90-Day Devotional (with Lt Col Dave Grossman). Since 2015, Adam has devoted his life to delivering books, courses, trainings, and keynotes that encourage first responders and sharpen the mind and spirit. His raw, unfiltered story positions him as a powerful force of hope for millions of people today. His work has positively impacted more than 1 million lives. Adam has presented his story of conquering some of life’s most smothering battles, including addiction, suicidal ideation, and other challenges, and how the lessons he’s learned can be applied in every life to achieve optimal performance and fulfillment. Adam is a nationally recognized trainer and keynote speaker for first responders and has presented for the Texas Highway Patrol Leadership Conference, the City of Columbus, Ohio Police & Fire, the New York Police Department, and many conferences and events. His media appearances have included PoliceOne, Law Enforcement Today, The Huckabee Show, Good Morning America, The Rick & Bubba Show, The Blaze Radio Network, Family Life Today, The 700 Club, The Glenn Beck Program, Team Never Quit Podcast with Marcus Luttrell, and many others. Adam is the Founder and Executive Director of the Live Unconquered Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing faith-based wellness resources and training for first responders.
