Adam Griffin is a pastor, podcaster, and author from Dallas, Texas. He graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree in 2018 (though he only goes by Dr. Griffin if he’s hoping for an upgrade on a flight). Adam and his wife Chelsea have been married since 2010 (not nearly long enough). They met on a Monday. One year, one month, and one day later – they got married (to each other). They share a passion for following Jesus and making disciples. Adam has been in vocational ministry for more than 20 years. His primary ministry is in his home with their three boys – Oscar, Gus, and Theodore. They also have a goldendoodle named Maroney (she is not a Christian). In 2018, the Lord led Adam to leave his role at The Village Church to plant Eastside Community Church in their neighborhood of Dallas. When Adam isn’t lead pastoring or parenting or husband-ing – he loves to write, podcast, and create resources for families. Adam’s first book was Family Discipleship which he co-wrote with Matt Chandler in 2020. His book Good News for Parents won the 2025 Christianity Today Book Award in the “Marriage and Family” category (he’s also written several other books that haven’t won ANY awards). Since 2021, Adam and Chelsea have hosted the Family Discipleship Podcast with their friend Cassie Bryant. It is regularly one of the top parenting podcasts in America (and Kazakhstan).
