Hello everyone, this is my updated profile as of 2026. That said, a little bit about me; I'm a Zambian-Finnish author and development professional currently living in Helsinki, Finland. My debut novel, The Pretenders, was born in Singapore, where she spent three years as a trailing spouse and has been republished in 2026 by Datura Books. My latest novel 'The English Speakers' is set in Helsinki. I spend my days funding female entrepreneurship. I have the good fortune to be in grants and business development in the international development sector. I've lived and worked in Ireland, the former Soviet Union and New Zealand and I have a Master’s in Equality Studies from University College Dublin. I occasionally upload short stories here and my writing has appeared in The Johannesburg Review of Books and Ubwali Literary Magazine. When I’m not talking to my plants, I'm exploring Helsinki’s libraries and galleries and trying not to step on the Lego that lives on my living room rug.
