Amanda Becker is a 2023 Nieman Fellow and Washington correspondent for The 19th, a nonprofit newsroom focused on gender, politics and policy. She has covered the U.S. Congress, the White House, the Supreme Court and elections, including three presidential elections, for nearly two decades. Becker previously worked at Reuters and CQ Roll Call. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, and Glamour magazine.
