Amy Hill Hearth (pronounced HARTH) is a Peabody Award winner and New York Times bestselling author best known for Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years, the runaway bestseller adapted to Broadway and film. Hearth's role in the film was performed by Academy Award-winner Amy Madigan.
An unusually versatile writer, Hearth has written novels as well as nonfiction, and books for adults as well as younger readers. Her 11 books, which have been translated into nine languages, have won many awards. Her publishers include Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, Blackstone, and Doubleday.
