Anna had a brush with 'fame' as a magician’s assistant back in 1977, though she does not attribute being sawn in half at 6months old to any of the therapy she has since received. She's tried and failed at acting, singing, recruitment, and professional murder mystery parties (she was ALWAYs the one to die!), and by the time she hit her mid thirties, decided she'd give writing a go. Since then, she has written six novels, published by Bookouture, achieving Top 10 status on the iBooks chart, plus Amazon Top 100 in the UK, AUS and Canada, a German translation, and several audio books. She's also written a Rom Com for Harper North under the pseudonym, Lottie Brook. She occasionally writes for local and national media, and has now turned her hand to screen, theatre writing and hosting a podcast, How To Breathe So You Don't Look Fat, a show about out relationship to body, self and food, titled after a lesson she was taught at 8 yrs old. Anna lives in the Peak District with her two children and her husband.
