Arthur W. Myers III is a law enforcement leader and speaker with more than three decades of experience in policing, training, and command-level leadership. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of Police for a South Carolina university.

Throughout his career, Myers has worked in patrol, investigations, and leadership roles, including directing a major department’s training division and serving in internal affairs. His work has focused on preparing officers and leaders to make decisions under pressure and to lead with accountability when it matters most.

His book, Tattered: When the Blue Line Frays, draws on firsthand experience navigating a career-altering investigation and its aftermath. Through that experience, Myers examines the impact of organizational decisions, the role of leadership during critical moments, and the consequences when process overtakes people. He is available for speaking engagements.

Myers is also the author of Confession of Justus, a historical novel set in the Roman world that explores faith, duty, and sacrifice through the eyes of a battle-hardened centurion. Blending historical realism with spiritual reflection, the work examines the tension between service, loss, and redemption.

He continues to teach, speak, and advocate for stronger leadership, officer wellness, and a more balanced approach to accountability within the profession. Together, his work reflects a focus on honor, leadership, sacrifice, and the personal cost of service—across both modern law enforcement and historical narrative.

He is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and has a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
