I'm a member of Trinity West, a church I helped to plant in West London. My official job title is Director of Product Development at Christianity Explored Ministries. But I've also contributed writing to The Gospel Coalition, 9Marks, ExploreGod and Christianity Today. And I blog with gleeful rarity at Future Perfect, Present Tense (www.barrycooper.com). Some background. While I was supposed to be studying English Language and Literature at St Catherine's College, Oxford, what I actually did was lots of sketch-based comedy and stand-up. I then trained as an actor at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, and appeared on stage in various places, including Shakespeare's Globe and the National Theatre. I also co-ran a theatre company for seven years. In May 2010, I completed an MA in Christian Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. More recently, I spent five months interning with Mark Dever at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington DC.
