Brice Nadin was born in 1967 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France. He now lives near Paris, where he devotes himself to writing. A technology consultant, entrepreneur, and father of three, he leads several parallel lives alongside his work as a novelist. Passionate about history and esotericism, he published his first novel, Les Étoiles d’Orion – Cluny 1095, in 2019. The opening volume of a historical saga set during the events of the First Crusade, the novel blends meticulous medieval reconstruction with a subtle esoteric dimension. It has attracted more than 10,000 readers, frequently reached the top of the Kindle historical fiction charts, and was selected as a “staff pick” by numerous bookstores across France. The saga continues with Mare Nostrum 1096 (2021), a sweeping journey across the Mediterranean from Pisa to Cairo, followed by The Oracle of Constantinople (2024), which plunges readers into the heart of the Byzantine Empire and the early stages of the crusade in 1097. In November 2025, Jerusalem 1099, the final volume of the series, depicts the capture of the Holy City and the founding of the Hospitaller Order, a precursor to the modern hospital. Brice Nadin is currently working on a fictionalized biography of four remarkable women who shaped the 11th century: Matilda of Tuscany, Maria of Alania, Anna Komnene, and Hildegard of Bingen.
