Carol Gigliotti is Professor Emerita of Dynamic Media and Critical and Cultural Studies at the Emily Carr University of Design, Vancouver, BC. She is a dual citizen of both Canada and the US. The editor of the book, Leonardo’s Choice: Genetic Technologies and Animals, she is the author of numerous book chapters and journal essays on our relationships with animals. Her work is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, The Sitka Center for the Arts and Ecology, and Coppermoss, among others. She is also the author and illustrator of an animated online graphic novel.
