Carrie Kabak is the author of COVER THE BUTTER, an Independent Booksellers’ Pick, AudioFile Magazine Earphones Award winner, and Quill Award nominee, and of SHIBBY MAGEE.
Her work has appeared in multiple anthologies, including publications by North Atlantic Books and Simon & Schuster. She writes character-driven fiction exploring the complexities of relationships, family, cultural identity, and belonging.
Alongside her writing, Carrie works as a book cover artist for major publishers, following many years as a production designer at Hallmark Cards.
Both an Irish and British citizen, she now lives in Missouri with her chef husband. They share five sons, five grandchildren, two labradors, two cockatiels, and four tanks of freshwater fish.
