Catherine Simone Gray is the author of PROUD FLESH: A Memoir of Motherhood, Intimate Violence, and Reclaiming Pleasure. She is the recipient of a literary arts fellowship from the Mississippi Arts Commission. She lives in Jackson, Mississippi, with her husband and two sons.
