At Deutsche Bank, in addition to achieving C-Suite roles, she created fintech and analytics software before fintech became an industry category. Chitra then defied career gravity making a non-linear pivot, becoming a TV news anchor in NYC, the #1 media market in the world, for Reuters, BNN Bloomberg, CCTV, and other networks. She was a partner at General Catalyst, leading its ecosystem investment strategy across healthcare, tech, media, and consumer. Unique to venture capital, she created an inaugural value-creation ecosystem platform, commercializing innovation partnerships for 75+ portfolio companies. As a strategic growth operator, Chitra has pioneered a new category as cross-industry Market Maker, delivering AI solutions to Fortune 500 C-Suite executives. Chitra is the author and host of The CodeBreaker Mindset™ book and podcast. She has served on the President of the United States Advance Team and as a Professor at Rutgers Business School. Chitra has a CPA, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School and University of Toronto.
