CHRIS BRAUNS is the lead pastor at the Red Brick Church in Stillman Valley, IL.
Chris has served in pastoral ministry for over 30 years and is the author of The
Way of Repentance: Embracing God's Gift for a Transformed Life (Crossway),
Unpacking Forgiveness: Biblical Answers for Complex Questions and Deep Wounds
(Crossway), When the Word Leads Your Pastoral Search (Moody), and Bound
Together: How We Are Tied to Others in Good and Bad Choices (Zondervan).
In 2023, Unpacking Forgiveness was named by World Magazine as a classic book of
the month . Chris has worked with victims in Northern Ireland, Africa, England,
and throughout North America. In 2019, Chris was named the Grand Rapids
Theological Seminary Alumnus of the Year.
Chris has an undergraduate degree in chemistry, an MBA, and an MDIV. He earned a
Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary studying
under Dr. Haddon Robinson.
Chris frequently preaches and consults for churches and other Christian
ministries.
