After graduating, he initially worked as a video journalist and designed daily television reports. He then took up a position as a lawyer, which he practiced for many years. At the same time he wrote two novels, which were good writing practice for him and which he has not published to this day. His psychological thriller DAS MEDIKAMENT became the No. 1 bestseller in the Kindle shop and the BILD bestseller. THE DEATH SEARCHER marks the beginning of a thriller series about the investigators Adrian Speer and Robert Bogner, who belong to a newly established homicide commission of the Berlin police to solve particularly cruel crimes. Volume 2, DER TOTENSAER, was published in March 2019 and Volume 3, DER TOTENRÄCHER in February 2020. On June 7, 2021, DER TRÄNENJÄGER, the fourth volume of the successful thriller series, will be released. Chris Karlden now devotes himself exclusively to writing suspense novels and lives with his family as a freelance author in Saarland.
