Christian Trimmer writes and edits children's books. He is the author of SIMON'S NEW BED, which captures the never-ending struggle between cats and dogs (and siblings); (MIMI AND SHU IN) I'LL RACE YOU!, a comical, loose retelling of the origin of the Chinese Zodiac; TEDDY'S FAVORITE TOY, a semi-autobiographical tale of a boy, his most treasured doll, and his fierce mom; SNOW PONY AND THE SEVEN MINIATURE PONIES, a retelling of Snow White...starring ponies!; THE LITTLE THINGS, about how one little girl's act of kindness inspires her community; WHAT ARE YOU?, a story about being multiracial starring a puggle (a pug/beagle mix); WOMBAT, THE RELUCTANT HERO, a tale about being neighborly; and THE GOOD HAIR DAY, about a little boy and the thing he wants more than anything. When Christian is not writing books for young readers, he's editing them. He has worked at Disney Hyperion, Simon and Schuster, and Henry Holt Books for Young Readers.
