I am a wife, mother, and national speaker who helps women strengthen their relationship with God and others. I have authored 17 books with Harvest House Publishers that are now in several different languages and available around the world, including "When Women Walk Alone" (more than 125,000 copies sold), "When a Woman Inspires Her Husband," "When God Sees Your Tears" and "Drama Free: Finding Peace When Emotions Overwhelm You." My husband, Hugh, and I have released a book together, too, called "When Couples Walk Together: 31 Days to a Closer Connection" and he helped me with my most recent book, "12 Ways to Experience More with Your Husband." I had the privilege of releasing a book that my daughter, Dana, helped me write: "When a Mom Inspires Her Daughter." Many people ask how I got started writing and publishing. I would have to say my books are the result of more than 25 years of ministering to women, writing and teaching Bible studies to women, and recording the insights God has taught me through lessons in my own life. I can also help you get started with your book if God has placed a book on your heart but you don't know where to start. Beginning June 1, 2018 I will be taking clients who want a writing and/or speaking coach to help them get to the next level. Women's groups across the country have enjoyed studying through my books, so I always include questions for thought, reflection, and application at the end of each chapter. I also have free downloadable small group facilitators' guides available on my website for study through some of my titles. You can find my writings on Crosswalk.com, LaundryMoms.com. I live in the San Diego area of Southern California with my husband of 30 years. My daughter, now an adult, lives nearby and works for the Walt Disney Company.
