Claire's love affair with Greece started more years ago than she cares to remember. Corfu was her first destination as a teenager, and since then she has travelled extensively around the country, particularly the islands, and is even learning Greek, very slowly. The sunshine, the culture, and the warmth of the Greek people, not to mention the food, have inspired her to write three later in life rom coms based in Greece, full of romance and female friendship, published by One More Chapter, part of HarperCollins. The newly published second novel, Too Glam to Give a D*mn, is the story of Sofia, Maddie and Charlotte, who embark on an adventure full of fun, laughter, and personal pain that none of them will forget in a hurry. Three old friends, Three Greek islands and Three big secrets. The first in The Greek Getaways Collection, Still Got It, is the story of Grace, who after being widowed early, takes a three month teaching job on a Greek island in a bid to change her life, and bumps heads with ex special forces soldier Will. Can she relax into her new life and give love a second chance? The third novel, Never Too Late to Date, which will be out in September, focuses on friends Vicky and Suzie, both sixty, happily single and off men. Newly divorced Vicky takes a volunteer job at an animal sanctuary on the Greek island where Suzie, briefly a well known singer in the Eighties, has a bar. Their friendship takes off as new friends and old flames arrive to tempt them. Will they both stick to the single life? Claire is a long-time journalist and tv producer, who has worked in features, showbiz and interiors. She is married with two grown up children and lives in southwest London.
