Colin Clifford was educated at l'Ecole des Sciences Politiques in Paris and Merton College, Oxford. After qualifying as a barrister, he worked for a number of years as an investment banker and then as a financial journalist and public relations consultant. The Asquiths was originally published by John Murray in 2002, and was Colin's first book. He now lives with his wife and their two dogs on his family farm in Gloucestershire.
