I have started a new company called Sandfly Security (www.sandflysecurity.com). Sandfly provides agentless compromise detection systems for Linux. I have made a career as a software entrepreneur with multiple successful start-ups. I sold my previous company to Cisco Systems, Inc. That company produced a real-time network attack response and analysis system. I have also worked for the Chief of Naval Operations - U.S. Pentagon, with a start-up founded by members of the Air Force Information Warfare Squadron (also acquired by Cisco), and finally as an early stage consultant to TippingPoint Technologies which was acquired by 3Com Corporation. My experience includes software engineering, network security, intrusion detection systems, marketing, sales, venture capital fund raising and executive management. I use the ideas in my books to manage my own finances and investments.
