I live in a charming little town in Rutland, England’s smallest county. It is a setting that closely reflects the world of my new cosy murder mystery series, The Shepton Rise Murders.
Before turning to writing, I worked as a textile designer and lectured in printed textiles at art schools and universities across the UK. Eventually, I left that career behind in search of new adventures.
My writing journey began with the Stuck series, a historical time-travel adventure inspired by the kinds of books I would have loved as a child. This was followed by The Rebel Runaways, a Victorian alternative-history trilogy with a dash of steampunk.
Now I have found a real passion for creating cosy murder mysteries. The first three books in the series are Murder Unscripted, Murder in the Wings and Murder in Focus. Join my amateur sleuth, theatrical agent Ginny, as she and her fun-loving actor friends unravel the murders that disturb the peace of Shepton Rise.
